Near Inn of the Sea in the Cedar area

Inn of the Sea is in the Cedar area just south of Nanaimo. Nearby is the town of Ladysmith. But there are country delights even closer, like the Crow and Gate pub, Roberts Memorial, Yellow Point and Blue Heron parks and a number of rural farm-gate food producers. Cedar Village has a supermarket, restaurants, video rentals and more. Cedar is also home to many artisan and artists' studios and galleries to explore (see our links page). The local parks are ideal for picnics, birding, hiking, shellfishing, and tide pool explorations. There are several golf courses within easy reach: other recreational activities that are easy to find nearby include sailing, charter fishing, canoe and boat rentals.
